Fans countrymen nobles: the time has come for birdmonster to flee to friendly confines of the City and scamper eastward in some vehicle(s) or another. But before we embark join us at the always marvelous Cafe du Nord this Friday. We're playing with both the 88 and Street to Nowhere. I've even got a poster to prove it.

Ah then what? Then we ride off into the sunset (which is apparently in Texas) turn around and ride back into the fog. Sounds romantic doesn't it. All we need are some Palantinos and a trusty sidekick preferably one who rides a mule and wears a floppy hat. We return on the 22nd for a noisepop show with San Fracisco's own Film School at the end of the month. And then: album. It all works out so nicely.

Hear ye hear ye hear ye. News abounds and now that we're safely ensconced in San Francisco it's time to spread the good word. Here goes:

First and foremost let me direct you to ourmyspace page. We've posted three songs there off our forthcoming LP entitled No Midnight. If you've been there already the reason to go back is that these songs are now mastered so they sound in my not so humble opinion absurdly bad-ass. Which of course reminds me that we have send the mastered CD off the lab and the artwork to the printers so well we're just waiting for ink to dry before we can spread the CD around like so much soft butter-substitute. As we eagerly await the delivery of our birdbaby we're biding our time with shows. Check the tour page---which come to think of it is a little misleading since the next two will involve about a two mile journey total but hey we're sneaky like that.

Also there are currently three-different-places you can listen to five different songs. Let us know what you think by the power of the internet by either kind letters cruel hate-mail or by buying a CD on pre-order. Or you can donate a van. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Here comes the 45 second news post of doom.

Tonight we're playing Slims with Bay Area superhumans Film School & Send For Help as well as New York's Cloud Room. On the internet it's sold out. But I hear tell that they will release some tickets at the start of the show so if you're into it and willing to get a little soggy for rock and roll come on down. Just wear some galoshes. I don't want you to get a chill.
